I just moved to Charlotte a year ago, and what you guys are doing is amazing! Seriously, my favorite thing to do while living in Boston was checking out new bands and go to live shows. Your site makes it so much easier to navigate the local scene here.

Thank you!

Sincerely,
Robin

hey! thanks for the review live limelight! we appreciate the feedback. having only been together about 7 months, we know several songs should be added unto. the band had already discussed some solos to let each member shine individually. we get into the studio for the first time this weekend to record 4 songs- 2 of which stan mentions liking...'get down' (which i have already written an additional solo part for), 'murdershack', the quirky 'crispy lizard' and our deepest, moodiest 'currently haunted.'
(the other song stan mentioned and called ' your'e not welcome in my home' is actually called 'gentrification'- another moody one)
...SO- Shot Silk is in it's early stage right now- we plan on growing and evolving our songs and staying passionate about our sounds- we've got this heavy slink, sultry and eerie but beautiful feel about our music- which will be boosted with some solo action and enabling the songs to carry more....also still learning the idiosyncrasies of playing out. we look forward to the whole process and not only what we get out of it- but what we can offer....thank you again, Live Limelight- will keep ya posted on the release of our EP and upcoming shows!

Hello,
Yes. You are on point. I did enjoy the music itself, though there were no vocals. It is good music to drink a beverage of choice and just listen as they wander through their songs (though for me, it would have to be with eyes closed, which makes drinking anything a little iffy).

Thanks for your comment!
